RhythmiCLE Sound Tap Company
RhythmiCLE Sound Tap Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission it is to continue the legacy and teaching of America’s dance, tap, for dancers, the community, and American culture.
We hold monthly technique classes and rehearsals. We work to restore historical choreography created by tap masters from the 1900s. We host current masters of tap to teach dancers in our community, and we hold ensemble performances throughout the year both in concert and at charitable events. We believe preserving and passing on America’s indigenous dance form is key to our history and our future generations.
Our goal is to create an organization that can offer scholarships to deserving individuals to attend tap festivals and take classes as well as attending and participating in our other productions. We also strive to perform throughout the community at senior homes, hospitals, schools, local festivals, and community centers.
Our members travel from all over Ohio and Pennsylvania. They are masters of their craft and they enjoy making new friends and traveling to perform and take class. We have created a home for those who love this art form and we only hope to grow our community over the coming years.

We are excited to announce that we are in our first year of non-profit 501c3 status. As we work to build the tap dance community and continue to help keep the culture and traditions of tap dance prevalent and correct we need help. We are still a small company and we would like to provide more services and financial aid to those less able to pay for the expense of dance to have an equal access to this art form and the ability to make it a career, should they choose. In order to preserve the history of dance, we also need funding to bring in masters of the field who are more closely linked to the creation of tap dance. Those who lived and heard the stories by the original masters of tap need to tell these stories and in order to share those stories with Ohio, we need funding. Any donation, small or large is extremely appreciated and helpful. Tax deductible receipts are available. Donations can be made using the link below. Please follow your donation with a quick email with your contact information so we can follow up with you. An immense thank you to our current supporters listed below.
